At low-tide coral and rocks are revealed and donning a pair of water shoes you can explore the rocky shore. Make sure to hang around long enough to witness the amazing sunsets.

Explore Uluwatu Temple

Uluwatu is an ancient cliff-top temple that one simply must not avoid visiting. The place is very popular for its beautiful sunsets and traditional Kecak dances which takes place in the evenings. The place is also home to a large number of monkeys and some traditional artefacts. Make sure to wear a long skirt and tops with sleeves, or you can buy a traditional sarong and shawl to wrap yourself up before entering the temple.

The Surfing is Fab

Plenty of beaches tucked into pretty Cliffside's await you in Uluwatu. Bingin Beach is clean and beautiful and you need to climb down a steep set of stairs to reach this beach. The surfing there is good, but should be attempted at high tide in order to avoid the sharp reef. Keramas Beach too is ideal for surfing; the waves are large and fast at this black sand beach while the Impossible Beach is ideal for professional surfers to enjoy, offering thrilling rides and lots of superfast breaks.
