Oregon Top O Lineman (2020)

As of right now probably Oregon's top O lineman from a projection standpoint. Unquestioned D1 athlete. Football family and son of 6-7 head coach Justin Starck. Showed off overall athleticism earning 1st team all state honors on both sides of the football. Helped the Colts to the 5A state title.

Shanks made the transfer from Lakeridge, helping Lake O to the 2018 6A state title. He earned all conference honors as a freshman and followed that up nicely with a 2nd team all TRL selection this year. Tiger has a ridiculously high ceiling due to his size and overall athletic ability. That said as this off season on the camp circuit, and next year in particular, will be telling as to whether or not he can put it all together.

Hands down one of the top lineman in the NW. Head coach Brian Crum calls him the best lineman he has coached in 23 years. Earned unanimous 1st team all league honors as he projects at the D1 level with continued progression.

Luke has a stock which has rapidly risen over the last year. His ability to play multiple spots on the line helped him earn honorable mention all conference honors in what was an overachieving season. At 6-4 Popma could still put on some substantial size at the next level which is very appealing from a recruiting standpoint.

TJ is another very talented kid with question marks. When all is said and done he will be a 4 year all conference varsity starter which very few people can say. Jakmauh has a nice frame at 6-5 and projects on O, although he has at times looked better on D. Regardless the kid can play.

From a projection standpoint he has as much potential as any lineman in the state. You can't teach 6-6 and athletic so his upside is high. As an exchange student the question becomes where does he end up next year and does he continue to progress. Had a very impressive 2018 season earning 2nd team All Metro honors.

Mckedy has great size and be a 4 year all conference varsity starter, earning honorable mention 5A all state honors this past season. His 43 total tackles and 5 sacks on defense the last two seasons speaks to his overall ability. He will need to impress on the camp circuit this off season against higher level competition to solidify his status.

Fundamentally there are few who are better, speaking to his training with elite line coach Alex Linnenkohl. At 6-2 center is where he will project. Played varsity ball as a freshman earning All Mt Hood honors the last two seasons. His 26-1 career record as the varsity center speaks volumes.

Incredibly physical kid and one of the fastest rising lineman in Oregon. Earned 2nd team All Metro honors with some lethal blocks. Not sure where he ends up from a projection standpoint at the next level but a very good HS lineman.

Morgan had a very impressive Junior year earning 1st team All Mt Hood and honorable mention all state accolades. Definitely one of the top O lineman in Oregon. If we are talking higher level collegiate ball he will be looked as a center at 6-2.

Ridgway had a breakout season racking up 1st team all conference honors. Played tackle during the season but projects as more of a guard at the next level with added size. Was a big reason for the Celtics late season success, helping them win the league title

Overall a very good athlete who will be a 4 year all conference varsity starter when all is said and done. Tinker has the tools it just comes down to size and how that will translate at the next level from a projection standpoint.

Had an outstanding Junior year racking up 1st team all league and 2nd team all state honors. Brother of 6-5 senior standout Brian Espinoza. Size could be a factor at the next level as he doesn't have that massive frame.

Doesn't necessarily possess ideal line size if we are talking projection, but the kid gets the job done. Earned 2nd team all Mt Hood accolades as a Sophomore, also contributing on D this season with 10 tackles and 2 sacks.

Has the size and the tools. Will need to beat some of the state's top lineman and do well on the camp circuit in order to up his stock
