Oregon 2021 Top DB's

Andrew Simpson 6-1 165 CB Mountainside

One of the most versatile kids in the entire NW. Can play on either side of the ball. My #1 ranked DB in the state of Oregon due to his instincts and overall athleticism. Had an MVP type post season, beating the #1 ranked team in the state in Tigard, while helping the new school to a state quarterfinal appearance.

Timon Davis 5-10 160 CB Grant

One of the top CB's in the region. Earned 1st team all conference honors as a Sophomore. Coached by the top DB coach around in Aaron Kincy. Recruitment is on the rise.

Tyeson Thomas 6-3 200 S Lakeridge

Thomas has size and comes from a football family. His ability to play multiple spots in secondary speaks to his overall athleticism. He earned Honorable Mention All TRL honors on the season, making 61 total tackles while returning 11 kicks for 157 yards.

Malcolm Williams 6-0 180 DB Lake Oswego

One of the better overall athletes in the state for his class (baseball). On the year he finished among the state leaders in INT's while earning all conference accolades on both sides of the football. Expect multiple colleges to be vying for his services.

Dawson Muggy 6-0 180 FS Thurston

This off season will be big for Muggy to show what he can do against out of state competition. He earned 1st team all state and all conference honors in 2019, helping the Colts win back to back 5A state titles. On the year he finished with 6 INT's and 9 pass deflections.

Andrew Oliver 6-0 195 FS Lakeridge

Had an outstanding Junior year leading the TRL with 6 INT's. Made 54 total tackles with 8 PBU's and 4 tackles for loss while earning all conference DB honors. His overall athleticism was on display at corner showing off some impressive agility.

Coleman Compton 5-10 170 CB North Bend

Compton started as a freshman and was dominant for much of the season on both sides of the football. Definitely one of the elite two way threats in the state. Racked up 1st team all conference accolades on O & D. Definitely on the "ALL NAME" team as well.

Thomas McNamara 5-11 185 SS West Linn

McNamara had a monster 2019 campaign racking up unanimous 1st team all conference honors, in the state's toughest league. His 79 total tackles (54 solo) and 5 tackles for loss were a big reason for that.

Clay Masters 5-11 180 DB West Linn

Another fundamentally sound kid who excelled on both sides of the football. Named honorable mention all conference defense, while adding 2nd team WR honors. Will project defensively as he is smart and makes few mistakes.

Dane Sipos 6-0 175 S Lebanon

Sipos can play having a monster 2019 campaign, while earning 1st team all league accolades. He accounted for 81 total tackles (41 solo) with 3 INTs and 3 tackles for loss.

Nolan Morris 6-0 175 CB North Medford

Morris has good size and had a big year earning 1st team All SWC honors at DB. He also killed it offensively putting an exclamation point on his overall versatility.

Justin Hughes 5-9 160 DB Mountainside

The exception to the rule from a size standpoint. One of the best football players in Oregon regardless of where he projects. Defensively he plays with no fear. Played QB the first 7 games of the year just to put his versatility into perspective.

Joe Mac Donald 5-10 190 DB Barlow

Mac Donald will be end up being a three year all conference athlete and one of the top returning kids in the Mt Hood next season. Another reason for the Bruins success in 2019

Darius Mims 5-10 170 DB Jesuit

Mims is an impressive kid coming from an athletic football family. He's isn't the biggest athlete, but he is tough and smart, projecting as one of the better DB's in the Metro next season.

Lucas Patterson 6-0 175 DB Marist

Patterson had a phenomenal season accounting for 1,515 all purpose yards, while also making 33 tackles with 7 INTs and 3 tackles for loss. Definitely one of the more versatile kids in the state earning all conference honors on both sides of the football.

Carter Baggs 5-11 175 ATH Barlow

Baggs was a big reason for the Bruins success and state semi-final appearance this past season. Projection wise he can play on either side of the ball at some level collegiately.
